Amalgam XPT System

Amalgam germicidal lamps are designed to produce 254 nanometer light in a significantly higher wattage range than standard T5 germicidal lamps.  These lamps are available in 130 watt, 180 watt, 200 watt, 325 watt, 330 watt and 800 watt.  Generally, amalgam lamps are used in water treatment encased in individual quartz sleeves.The key benefit of amalgam lamps is the long service life of this product when compared with standard germicidal lamps as well as its ability to be dimmed (in concert with the correct ballast system) while maintaining a specified UV output and a long service life.
