PAR 38 SIDE PRONG

Side prong lamps are designed to connect with a standard two blade plug equivalent to a 120 volt wall plug.  This lamp design was originally used in mining operations as it is not as susceptible to vibration issues and still allows quick disconnection.  Currently the applications for side prong lamps are generally in steeply sloped ceiling applications where the recessed fixture housing is flush or angled with the slope of the ceiling.  The wattage range is from 75 watts to 150 watts with the only spot and flood beam spreads available.  This lamp is available in halogen in the 90 watt version while the 75 watt and 150 watt versions are standard incandescent.
